Clearing the fog: how technology and connectivity supports a TRUE free market

Buying, selling, choosing, pricing, and logistics are all processes that drive a capitalist "market." But the real factors behind these are information, competition, and of course transparency. As founder of JustLegal, Willy Ogorzaly found an area where he thought the shopping and purchase process wasn't clear or fair at all (finding a lawyer) and disrupted the playing field by flooding it with information and access. Technology is supporting this shift everywhere, from mobile commerce to targeted media to authentic brand storytelling. In this session we will discuss the importance of free markets (including the pros and cons), how to identify one (or a lack thereof), and how startups are capitalizing on the lack of free markets by leveraging technology to drive increased efficiency, and occasionally disrupting entire industries. Bring your observations and questions on how you have experienced free markets as both a consumer and an entrepreneur.
